Let me know if the picture is too dark! It was lighter on my school's monitors but here at home it is so dark. I'm not sure which one is more accurate!
So here's something to start off the new year, officially. This was an assignment for an illustration class. I really pushed myself with the details and tried to keep everything clean an' pristine! A little inspired by Reign of Fire dragons (I love that movie x3) which are the best dragons of dragon that ever did dragon. Seriously, they are so badass. I don't know why that movie was considered a flop! :C *big frowny face* Cause eets so gooood!!
It is snowing mighty bad out dere but Imma go get some groceries nao. *gets in car and does donuts in the snow* *comedic woo-woo-woo spinny sound ensues*
Looks awesome to me! (re: the darkness issue) Man, I'm really diggin' the contrast between blue and tan here. It's really wonderful. You did a great job on the scale detail and anatomy as well. So niiiice. *.*
The darkness issue? What's that? Thank you! The scale detail was a challenge, I usually skip over intricate stuff like that. Glad that it is appreciated

How big was the image? (in pixels) I want to start drawing a detailed picture too, but I need advice on how big my image needs to be for it AMAZING by the way! I really like the shape of it's head
This image is 2424 by 2822 pixels. I'm still getting used to drawing large-scale pictures myself, so these dimensions still may be considered to be quite small! Thanks! :3
