Not exactly pristine "photography", but they are photos, none-the-less >_>

My leopard gecko I bought last week! He's apparently six months old, the pet store said it was a girl but I think it may be a boy (pet stores are not really an authority figure on such things), but either way when this little gecko is older I will be able to tell! I'll just refer to it as a "him" for now.

I named him "King Ghidorah" after my favourite Godzilla-themed monster, but my sisters keep calling him "Zippermouth" because he has all these little black spots around his muzzle which makes it look sort of like a zipper. Other names he has been given are "Triscuit" (due to the impromptu triscuit box hide), Pumpkin and Jackolantern. But he is a little King Ghidorah, he is always so hungry and just wolfs all his food down one after the other >_< with the ferocity of a kaiju. I want to feed him more but I'm so scared he'll over-eat, he's just so tiny! T^T His belly gets so full after the meals I give him :<

I'm thinking of making some custom hides for him when he gets older (e.g. in 6 months hopefully!). These crappy temporary boxes are just placeholders; I don't want to bother setting him up with a nice enclosure, only for him to grow out of it in 6 months! I'll let him get to adulthood before I spoil him with nice things >_> He is still a baby. So tiny! I have no idea if the colours he has now will stay when he gets older. I hope they do; to my knowledge, his bands will break apart and turn into spots. So I guess I'll see, in time!
